A beautiful way to finish a weekend that's been spent making preserves. Freshly made onion jam gets and opportunity to shine.
PHILADELPHIA STEAK SANDWICH
LOAF OF NICE BREAD (ciabatta) - 1/2
ONION JAM - 2 tbsp
MELTING CHEESE (I used grated firm mozzarella ) - 4 tbsp
VEAL FILLET GRILLED (thinly sliced) - 150 g
BLACK PEPPER crushed
Preheat the oven on 200 C (grill and air).
Cut half of a loaf, cut it open leaving one side closed.
On one side arrange onion jam, on another - veal. On top - cheese and black pepper.
Put the sandwich in oven as it is - open and wait for the cheese to melt and brown a bit. Then you can take it out, close it and cut in half.
